REVIEWS.
"[...] There is a steady narration, without remarkable ups and downs, a continuo that serves as the basis with constant feeds from various sources, which forms the primary sound matter on its own. Meaning that all this listening procedure could -if we turned the volume down- play the role of a framework on which a more prominent, in terms of volume, given could lean. This does not happen. In MaNKiL : part of the framework seems to be everything, the splitting in tracks serves no practical function and it's in this manner that this entire structure flows as one body, one mass, which gradually dominates everything.
I mean that listening to MaNKiL : part of has the power to lure you into a vortex, in a field that is delimited in a spontaneous manner and is spreading in all directions without limits - without obstacles."

"[...] Andrei Kivu, an internationally renowned Romanian cellist and multi-instrumentalist (he also plays the shakuhachi, bass flute and bass ocarina) who works mainly in the field of classical music (contemporary and baroque) plays here with Moody Alien. This time, in addition to small percussions, toy pianos, classical guitars, field recordings and electronically processed carillons, Alien also uses a coffee machine, a glass bowl, various whisks, wooden spoons and other household items. The recording has an extraordinary depth, a mysterious mood, drama; and although it is highly experimental (free improvisation and techniques of contemporary music), it has not lost its message."
